Finally working out again

I have been trying to get back into working out. I just haven't been able to really get back into it for quite a long time, probably over a year and a half.
Anyway,
I have always been really impressed with Andy's drive when it comes to physical activity and after reading about his Birkebeiner race, I realized it is time to get to it. No more excuses, get my ass in the gym and do what I have been wanting to do for a long time. Get in awesome physical shape.
So, 2 weeks ago I started watching my diet. Making sure I'm eating at regular intervals throughout the day, focusing on increasing my protein intake and water consumption.
I have also started doing plenty of research on what I should be doing and I found this great workout routine (let me tell you this kicks my ass) from a website that Ian told me about - the guys that write on here are FREAKS! (which is a compliment in the bodybuilding world I have determined) and they are very intelligent. I don't plan on getting even close to their size, but they know what they are talking about.
So, I started this past Monday, 3 days lifting M W F routine 1. I also started doing Tai Ji / Qi Gong and self defense T and TH.
So, that is what is new on my front.
I had to write it out / lay it out and I will try to make my posts less painful from now on.
I will give occasional updates on my progress.
